He completed his MD and PhD at Harvard Medical School and Harvard University where he studied leukemia stem cell biology in the laboratories of Gary Gilliland and Benjamin Ebert. After graduation, he completed an internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute / Massachusetts General Hospital combined program. Peter performed his postdoctoral work in Ben Ebert’s lab at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Broad Institute.
